Sugiyama Co., Ltd. was founded in 1952 as Sugiyama Iron Works, our predecessor.
While we were mainly involved in cutting work in our early days, our company introduced cold forging technology in 1963, and we have been manufacturing automotive parts since then for over 60 years.
When we first began working with cold forging technology, it was still considered to be technically impossible to craft precise shapes using it.
However, our company's proprietary forging technology has allowed us to transcend this limitation and make the high-precision forging of parts that closely resemble their final shape a reality.
As a result, we have been able to eliminate various post-processing operations, which has allowed us to reduce costs significantly. Moving forward, our company will continue to work towards meeting the needs of our clients even more effectively.
